Settings for sending
The settings check the function and mode of operation of the mail-generating engine. You may deactivate the function of the IMF here, as well as display the log files of the MCP and the individual e-mail generating engine.
The MCP (Master Control Prozess)
All the mailers are controlled by the MCP, which acts as their “head office.” If problems should appear while e-mails are being delivered, these problems may be cleared up by restarting the MCPs. Under “Mailer and Plug-ins,” you will find a table with only one entry. This represents the controlling “head office” of the MCP. Click on the last symbol in the correct line for restarting the system. Wait about 10 seconds, and then check the log files by clicking on the -symbol.

The mail engines
The registered mail engines are in the second table. As many mail engines as you like may be listed here. Here under “Status,” you can see the current task of every mailer, provided that it is carrying out a task. These mailers are flagged with a yellow light. You may also view the output of the log files here ()"Logfile".

You can activate or deactivate single mailer tasks by clicking on the -"Deactivate Mailer"symbol. You also can assign them responsibility for certain mailing lists. The standard setting is always “Load Balancing.” This means that the MCP takes over the distribution of tasks.
