Management of Webinterface Templates

All templates used for the Web-based subscriber interface can be created, checked, changed, and removed easily using the Admin interface. You will find the templates with their ID, use, activity status, creator, and name in the overview.

You can get a functional preview of the templates by clicking on the preview symbol. You can also remove or change the templates by using the corresponding symbol in the respective line.

Create and change a template

Before you create a template, you should have the HTML code and know the exact type of template you want to create. If these details and contents are known to you, enter the template name and choose the type of template. Then change the status of the template to “active.” You may also activate the function of prefetching. This is recommended, especially for Web sites with heavy traffic. A special caching mechanism is provided in the template. The complete template is stored intermediately in a server session if prefetching has been activated for minimization of the company’s network traffic. When prefetching is activated, accessing those templates does not additionally overload the database.

More information about construction of the HTML code that is inserted as template code can be found in chapter “The Web-based Subscriber Interface.”
